Who is Savage Souls Botaniks?

To me, Savage Souls Botaniks is the wild woman that lives within each of us. To be a savage is to return to your wild roots. They are just buried a little deeper in the mud for some of us.

Savage means fierce, ferocious, untamed. I think there is a wild within all of us begging to be let loose and I want to help the community return to this wildness by returning to the Earth, by reconnecting with their soul, and of course, through botanical medicine.

I founded Savage Souls Botaniks as a place for people to return to themselves. I have seen so many people, especially woman, make themselves small for others. So many people pleasers lost in life, with no direction yearning for something more, but not knowing how to get it. As a recovering people pleaser, I am here to help these women cultivate a connection with the Earth leading to a connection with themselves, and promote healing through herbs, Reiki, and good ol’ fashioned getting your hands in the soil.

I create a space for all ages to come and connect, to be vulnerable, to feel their feelings, and to ultimately feel empowered by what they thought was their weaknesses. In turn, I hope to inspire them to care for themselves, their community, and Mama Earth. Our planet needs us and we need her and by teaching others to honor the Earth and themselves, I see a future where we come together and begin to love and care about the person next to us again.

Vision

Helping individuals feel empowered and connected through the power of plants

Mission

Inspire others by fostering a connection to the earth and in turn to themselves. Teaching people to peer deeply inward; to cultivate a true love of self and promote lasting change which betters them and their community.

Savage Souls Botaniks is a space of Herbal Harmonization, Urban Farming, and Cultivating Connections.

What is Herbalism & Why Do You Need It?

Herbalism is the study of plant medicine, how each plant has specific properties and constituents that work in synergy with our bodies. Herbal remedies have been used since the dawn of time. I believe herbalism is where art meets science. As an herbalist I am connected to both the plants and the science behind how they work. These systems and arts of healing have both folkloric and scientific standing across communities. We use herbs as a predominately safe and far more natural way of working in conjunction with your body to bring it back into balance.
